| The search widget on my Radio Roku site does not work. Everything else seems to work fine. |

Hi Poolguy, welcome to the forums –
Are you getting this problem with both IE and Firefox?
Can you confirm that the ‘My SoundBridge’ widget is displaying both Time and Date when you are not playing any IR stations. If this is not the case then you need to check your Java settings. |

| I haven't used Firefox, so it only happens with IE. I do not have the date & time displayed on the My Soundbridge widget. |

As I advised previously: please now check your Java updates -
IMO the safest stable Java release/update to use for Radio Roku is “Java 6 update 7” (Java SE Runtime Environment 6)
https://cds.sun.com/is-bin/INTERSHOP.enfinity/WFS/CDS-CDS_Developer-Site/en_US/-/USD/ViewProductDetail-Start?ProductRef=jre-6u7-oth-JPR@CDS-CDS_Developer
It has been reported in the forums that with Java Release 7 when Sun introduced a new technology called “Next Generation Java Plugin”, this is known to cause display issues With Radio Roku’s Home-Page.
To resolve this, disable this option/feature and restart your browser :
Go to the Java icon on the task bar.
Right-click, open the Java control-panel,
Go to the tab "Advanced" (last tab).
Under "Java Plug-in" uncheck the box for Next Generation Plug-in.
Restart your browser.
“Compatibility View" – Some users have found that certain widgets fail to work correctly in Vista and are not related to Java, and can usually be resolved by adding “radioroku.com” to the list of sites that require "Compatibility View".
If a “Network Control is Disabled” message is displayed, you enable it by using your Soundbridge remote and going to the “System Configuration” menu. Go to "Change Library or Configuration", then "System Configuration", then "Network Control". Scroll down and select "Enable".
I hope this helps |
