Can Napster be my Music Server????

Can Napster serve as my music server? I have looked high and low for a place in Napster to allow it to share music with soundbridge but I can't find anything. Any thoughts out there?

Unfortunately no. Napster is sharing DRMed musik for obvious reasons and that doesnt go too well with the Rokus I think.
If Rokus could play it you could also basically save it to a file and thats something napster doesnt want with their rented music.

There are hacks like capturing the output of the soundcard and restreaming it as icecast but its nothing that you would really like well.

If you have windows media player 10, download and install windows media connect 2.0. Turn on sharing in windows media connect, and point it at your napster folder. You can use windows media connect to share your napster content.

If you have windows media player 11, then you need to turn on media sharing using the library menu, and import your napster music into wmp11. Set wmp11 to watch your napster folders for new content.

P.S. If like me you are using a PC running XP and don't want to upgrade to WMP 11 (not keen on updated GUI) or use itunes etc, then Windows Media Connect v2 (now obsolete from microsoft) is available from this FTP:
