Coming Soon to "Watch Instantly"

Postby MCWHAMMER » Sun Jul 06, 2008 5:26 pm

This thread links to a database for upcoming releases to Watch Instantly. To find out what is coming (Out of your regular queue), simply go to your Queue on Netflix, and scroll through it. If anything has a Date or "Coming Soon" message listed in the Instant Column, post it in this thread, and help to build our database. Release dates are also scattered in your movie search results (SEE this image for where to look for dates)!

The full database is located at the link above. We still very much need any new additions you find scattered on Netflix, so please continue to post them in this thread (Or on the Database site itself), and they will be added very quickly. Thank you for your continued support.

Ali Zaoua: Prince of the Streets : "Unknown"

This used to be in my queue; I don't know when or why it got moved to "Saved".

How did you get The Shining into your instant queue? I only see a red "Add" button; if I click it, it goes into my DVD queue.

This is confirmed, April Fools Day and Outpost have both been added to Instant Watch (They were slated to be released in September, so they did so just in the nick of time!). I am now going to remove them from the Coming Soon list. I would not recommend April Fool's Day, however :( Yucky.

If you have any new movies that are "Coming Soon" to Instant Watch, and have the Month they are being released, please post it here to help your fellow Netflix friends 8)

*Remember, just go to your instant Q and scroll to the bottom to see the "SAVED INSTANT" section. Movies set for future release will be listed there.

Added JC CHAVEZ to the Coming Soon list (Thank God it has nothing to do with *NSYNC). This documentary about a professional boxer will be released on Watch Instantly 9/30 (As promoted by a Netflix Ad).

HERE.

The point of this thread is that people will take a moment to look at their Instant Queue's and see if they have any "Saved Instant" movies that have an upcoming release month or date. Kind folks post those movies here and we then add it to the database so that we have a little resource going.

Obviously the resource is only as big as the support behind it, so I request anyone to post movies with upcoming confirmed release dates.

Mars Attacks! is making a return this month. It expired a few months ago, and is now coming back to Watch Instantly. I have updated the database in this thread to reflect the change. The ESPN doc/movie of J.C. Chavez was not released when it was supposed to be (Sept. 30), so I imagine it has been pushed back to a later date.

Mars Attacks! has been re-upped to Watch Now as of this week. I updated the database, and now The Shining is looking pretty lonely up there by itself. As soon as new titles get marked with dates for when they are coming, I'll add them. Feel free to let me know if you see any in your Instant Queue with the Month listed for it's debut.

They have been adding a lot lately. Enchanted is now instant and country of old men (whatever its called) plus many others. Wind Chill was a good horror flick. I'm just waiting for a price increase for the service.

Enchanted is a ton better than anyone would expect. I hope a lot of people watch it and put their inhibitions aside... Amy Adams is simply amazing. Some of the songs are still in my head :D

Netflix hasn't mentioned any Instant Watch related price increase... they did tell everyone beforehand when they planned on a Blu-ray price increase, so I'm sure they wouldn't spring an increase on their users without letting them know first. Not to mention, Instant Watch has been around for a very long time without a related price increase... Roku Netflix Player is the only new part of the equation, and that costs $100.

I'm just speculating of course, but I would certainly hope they wouldn't increase the price again anytime soon.

It's been a ridiculously long time coming, but as I've stated in the past, Netflix really holds back on the release dates now. Anyway, you'll find a new release date here. If you see any others, please post them here, thank you.

Four new titles added today (Don't rent them if you can hold out a little longer). Netflix.com now has an Instant column in your standard Queue, which shows upcoming release dates, and "coming soon" messages. I wasn't aware of it until tonight.

This is only stuff from my Q, you can look at yours now and reply here with what you find, to help the community.

I've got a thing for weird foreign horror flicks, so I browsed through Netflix's selection and found the following:

Gozu streaming 6/15/09
Art of the Devil streaming 7/1/09
The Machine Girl "coming soon"
